AimThe aim of this course is for Architecture, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Urban Design and Landscape Architecture, Industrial Design students to develop their ability to define and solve problems using design-oriented thinking methodology with approaches related to their disciplines. It is aimed for students to acquire the skills of collaborative research and design under the given topics.
Course ContentThis course contains; Explanation of the purpose, operation and outcomes of the course, introduction
of the group facilitators, introduction of the UN Sustainable Development Goals,
short presentations on Sustainable Cities, Accessibility, Smart Farming and
Disasters and Earthquakes,Students' meeting with the designated group coordinators, distribution of the topics, introduction, explanation of the subject leaflet - Seminar: Sustainability,Individual student research presentations about the given resources,Presentation of the student's individual research,Presentation of the student's individual research,Discussion of identified problems and original ideas and criticism from the executive,JURY 1: Data Collection + Problem Description + Analysis + Synthesis Studies and Scoring of Individual Idea Projects and Deciding on Projects to be Jointly Developed - Written, Oral, Visual Expression (diagram / graphic presentation),Jury Evaluation and the Formation of Student Groups (It should consist of 3 students from different disciplines),Team work- Evaluating the development of the identified problems and project-system proposals as a group,Team work- Evaluating the development of the identified problems and project-system proposals as a group,2.
