Aim	To give general information to dental students regarding clinical medicine, and to assess patients with systemic diseases as well as to refer patients if necessary.
Course Content	This course contains; Tyroid diseases and diabetes Cortizon therapy and adrenal insufficency Bleeeding disorders introduction coagulopathies and anemia Leukomia, lymphoma, anticoagulant and antiplatelet treatment Peptic ulser and medication Liver failure and cirrhosis Aterosiclerosis, angina pectoris and heart infarct Heart failure, arytmia, and dental care Renal dialysis, and dental care Endocarditis Obstructive lung disease and asthma Tuberculosis Pregnancy and dental consideration Biochemical analysis of body fluids, renal tests Fluid-electrolyt acid-base tests Liver and cardiovascular tests Bleeding tests wound healing and wound care Surgical infection and antibiotic selection blood transfusion and fluid support Intensive care Upper airway diseases Salivary gland examination Paranasal sinuses OSA Earache and tinnitus Neck examination Conjuctiva and cornea diseases Retinal diseases .

Students who take this lesson will have the knowledge for clinical approach to patients with different systemic diseases. Moreover, the students will correlate the relation between systemic status of the patients and proposed dental treatment.		A
