AimThe aim of the course is to explain the pathogenetic mechanisms and histopathological features of oral malignancies. The students may explain and understand the epidemioolyg of the oral cancer, eitological agents and clinicopathological features, molecular basis of cancer and oral carcinogenesis, tumor growth and progression with metastatic dissemination, clincial and pathological staging of oral cancer, TNM staging sysytems, tumor immunology and host response to tumor, immune system for the tumor, histopathological and clinical findings of oral and jae area malignancies . The students may understand the healthy relationsship with a dentist and pathologist and collaboraitve for for patients follow up and diagnostic approah to diseases and the role of the pathologist.
