Aim | Students learn about chemical risk factors that affect health and safety in their workplaces and learn the occupational health and safety measures to be taken against them. |
Course Content | This course contains; Introduction to Chemical Risk Factors,Classification of chemicals,Chemical Risks,MAC, TLV values of chemicals harmful to health,Hazardous chemicals and hazard classes,Hazard signs,Solid and powdered chemical factors,Liquid and vapor form chemical factors ,Material Safety Data Sheet,Personal protective equipment,Chemical labeling and storage,Chemical waste,Risk analysis in the chemical industry; emergency plan. |
