Aim
The aim of the maxillofacial surgery doctorate course is to enable students to understand, diagnose and learn the treatment of surgical issues in the jaw, face, head and neck region. This course aims to provide students with knowledge and skills in maxillofacial anatomy, surgical techniques, trauma management, congenital anamolies, tumour surgery, jaw joint disorders and aesthetic surgery. It also encourages integration between the fields of dentistry and medicine by adopting a multidisciplinary approach.
