Department of Turkish Music

There is a need for artists and scholars in the field of Turkish Music who are inquisitive, analytical, creative, possess a solid theoretical background, are competent in the arts, capable of contributing to national and global culture through art, and embrace a contemporary artistic perspective.

As the Department of Turkish Music, our goal is to train the qualified workforce required by our country and to support this field through the 4-year undergraduate education—which is currently available in a limited number of institutions in our country—at the Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Fine Arts, Design, and Architecture.
