Application process

Applicants to Master's and PhD programs must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree. Graduates of non-thesis Master's programs are not eligible to apply for PhD programs; however, students who enrolled in a non-thesis Master's program before February 6, 2013, are eligible to apply.

No ALES (Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Entrance Exam) score is required for applications to non-thesis Master's programs.

Applicants whose Bachelor's or Master's degree is in a field different from the Master's or PhD program to which they are applying will be required to attend a Scientific Preparation Program determined by the Department and the Graduate School Administrative Board.

Applicants are required to attend all announced examinations and interviews. Otherwise, they will not be considered in the evaluation process.

All documents uploaded to the system must be certified/approved copies and fully legible; otherwise, they will be deemed invalid.

Candidates who are granted final admission based on the results announced after all evaluations are completed must submit their documents during the official registration period.

Original copies of all required documents must be presented at final registration.

To benefit from tuition discount rates, proof of employment must be uploaded to the system at the time of application. Requests for discounts submitted after the application process will not be considered.

Application Procedure

Candidates wishing to apply to graduate programs must create a “new account” through the application system announced in the “Announcements” section of our University's website and then enter the required information in the relevant fields. Documents requested on the application screen must be uploaded to the system in PDF or JPEG format.

Applicants are required to provide an active email address that they regularly use during registration, as all notifications will be sent via email. Once the uploaded information and documents have been reviewed and approved, a notification email will be sent to the applicant. In the event of missing or incorrect information or documentation, the applicant will be notified via the email address provided during the application process regarding issues such as an invalid application, unapproved documents, missing documentation, or similar deficiencies.

For applicants whose applications have been fully approved, eligibility will be assessed based on whether they meet the foreign language proficiency requirements of the program to which they have applied. Candidates who do not possess a valid language examination certificate (except for applicants to PhD programs) will be required to take an examination on the date announced by the University.

Applicants who have fulfilled all requirements must attend the relevant examinations at the location, date, and time specified in the application system.

Ranking will be determined based on the calculations made after all scoring components listed in the evaluation table have been completed.

Applicants are responsible for ensuring that the information and documents submitted during the preliminary application process are consistent with those presented during final registration. If any discrepancies are found, the responsibility rests solely with the applicant. Applications that do not meet the requirements will be deemed invalid, even if the applicant has been granted the right to final registration.
