Vocational School of Justice

Istanbul Medipol University Vocational School of Justice aims to train qualified mid-level professionals needed in the delivery of justice services and has been providing education with its competent staff since the 2013–2014 academic year.

Upon completing the profession-oriented courses at our school, graduates acquire the knowledge and skills that enable them to serve as assistants to judges and prosecutors in judicial and correctional institutions. They are also qualified to work as clerks or court ushers in courts, enforcement offices, and notaries. In addition, graduates can be employed in the private sector as assistants to lawyers in law firms or in legal departments of large organizations, such as banks.

The foundational legal knowledge gained at our Vocational School provides students with a strong advantage, particularly if they continue their studies at law faculties through the Vertical Transfer Exam after graduation.

Justice services, a public service, involve the resolution of legal disputes arising between individuals or between individuals and state institutions. The judiciary, constitutionally mandated to deliver this service, employs not only judges and prosecutors but also various personnel in different positions. The complex nature of judicial activities, combined with the growing volume of these operations, has increased the demand for qualified personnel in the legal field in both public institutions, primarily the Ministry of Justice, and the private sector.

The mission of the Vocational School of Justice is to ensure that public officials involved in the delivery of justice services possess the qualifications required for these roles. Indeed, the effective provision of justice services to society is directly proportional to the knowledge and sense of duty of the personnel performing these services.
