| Aim | By the end of this term, third-year midwifery students are expected to be able to identify healthy and high-risk newborns, provide care to newborns and their families during and after birth, assess growth and development in childhood, and plan care for common illnesses and midwifery care. Additionally, it is intended that students develop their professional midwifery roles through clinical practice and gain an understanding of family-centred care. |
