| Aim | The aim of this course is to enable students to aquire principles and techniques of neuropsychological assessment; to make them able to use neuropsychological test which evaluate attention, perception, memory, language, visuo-spatial skills and also associate the findings with neuropsycihatric disorders. |
| Course Content | This course contains; The aim and principles of neuropsychology: Introduction to neuropsychological assessment,Current conception of brain functions: Large scale networks and it's relationship with cogntive functions,Psychometry and cognitive tests,Evaluation of consciousness, awareness and attention, motivation and hand dominans,Evaulation of Memory: Oktem-SBST, WMS, ROFT, WMS Story,Evaluation fo visuospatial skills and construction: BFRT, BLOT, copying figures,Evalutation of language functions and apraxia: BNT, TULIA, Cookie Theft,Evaluation of Cognitive control and Working Memory: Abstraction, Judgemnet, ToL, WCST, Coginitive Estimation Test,Evaluation of Cognitive control and Working Memory: Clock Drawing, Verbal Fluency, stoop Test, Trail Making, Mental Control,Cognitive Screening Tests: SMMT, MoCA,Evaluation of Psychopathology: NPI, GDS,Evaluation of Daily Living Activity and Grading Dementia: DLA-EDLA, CDR,Cognitive Profile of neuropsycihatric diseases,Writing report and ethical issues. |
