Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Pharmacy

The Faculty of Pharmacy at Istanbul Medipol University is completing its 16th year of establishment this year. Having graduated its 12th cohort from the Turkish program and its 2nd cohort from the English program, our faculty is committed to providing students with the high-level education they deserve and continuously advancing the positive feedback received from our students each year.

The aim of our undergraduate program is to train qualified pharmacists who possess professional ethical values, are open to development, adopt lifelong learning habits, prioritize public health, have a strong academic foundation required for education, and contribute to national development. As an education and research institution with a progressive and pioneering position in Türkiye, our Faculty continues its steady growth with the opportunities provided by our University.

Having launched a 100% English-taught program in the 2020–2021 academic year, our faculty actively contributes to science and industry through research projects, publications, and consultancy services with a dynamic and well-qualified academic staff.

In order to prepare our students for professional life, we organize various activities such as “Career Days,” “PharmaTalks,” “National Pharmacy Congresses,” “National Symposium on Environment, Nutrition and Microbiota,” and “Pharmacy Day.” In addition, cultural trips are organized to help students develop a broader sociocultural perspective.

We take great pride in educating exemplary individuals characterized by integrity, hard work, and a strong sense of responsibility toward society and the environment. Our graduates’ success in the public sector, industry, and academia, as well as their high demand in the private sector, is a source of great satisfaction for us. At the same time, we continuously challenge ourselves by asking, “Can we do better?”

To support the social and cultural development of our students, various cultural elective courses are offered through the Rectorate’s elective course pool. Efforts are made to enhance personal skills, and a wide range of social activities, sports events, and meetings are organized. We are also pleased to see our students actively participating in social events and engaging in social responsibility projects.

Our students’ trips include visits to pharmaceutical factories, botanical excursions, and picnic trips involving sports activities. Through international exchange programs such as Erasmus+, students are encouraged to experience different cultures. Furthermore, our university offers internal double major, minor, and horizontal transfer programs for successful students.

Our Faculty has been awarded “Full Accreditation” by the National Pharmacy Education Accreditation Board for the Turkish program for the periods 25.01.2019–25.01.2025 and renewed for 25.01.2025–25.01.2031.

We continue to work together at the same pace to achieve our mission and vision.
