At the “Medipol Future Bridge Talks 2026” event held at Istanbul Medipol University, students had the opportunity to hear firsthand insights into the changing dynamics of the global business world from an experienced industry leader. Featuring Saint-Gobain Human Resources Director Gözdehan Çaycı as the keynote speaker, the event addressed topics such as leadership, crisis management, artificial intelligence, resilience, and personal branding, while offering noteworthy perspectives on the future of workplace culture and the concept of multidimensional career development. 

Future Bridge Talks

 

Organized by the School of Business and Management Sciences of Istanbul Medipol University, “Medipol Future Bridge Talks 2026” was held at the South Campus. The event brought together Gözdehan Çaycı, Human Resources Director at Saint-Gobain, and Assoc. Prof. Mesut Öztırak from Istanbul Medipol University. Discussions focused on university–industry collaboration, innovation, leadership competencies, and the evolving expectations of the business world.

Moderated by Assoc. Prof. Mesut Öztırak, the event also addressed the career expectations of Management Information Systems students and the emerging demands of today’s professional environment. Öztırak emphasized that students should develop themselves not only through technical expertise but also through communication skills, strategic thinking, and multidisciplinary competencies.

Throughout the programme, participants highlighted the importance of working cultures within multinational corporations, intergenerational harmony, resilience, and lifelong learning. The discussions provided valuable insights into the competencies required to succeed in an increasingly complex and rapidly changing global business landscape.
