Students of the School of Business and Management Sciences presented their projects within the scope of Sustainable Development Practices Course

Within the scope of Prof. Dr. Burcu Yavuz Tiftikçigil's Sustainable Development Practices course, students at the School of Business and Management Sciences presented their final projects.

Istanbul Medipol University students prepared their projects with an innovative perspective within the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The projects were evaluated by Prof. Dr. Burcu Yavuz Tifktikçigil, Director of Istanbul Medipol University Sustainable Development Application and Research Center.

School of Business and Management Sciences, Department of International Trade and Finance (English) students prepared a brochure and booklet on the 9th Sustainable Development Goal "Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure".

Medipol Education and Health Group's Carbon Footprint was Measured!

School of Business and Management Sciences students Gözdenur Yalçın, İrem Köse, Oğulcan Keskin and Sena Nur Öztürk prepared a project to measure the carbon and water footprint of Medipol Education and Health Group. Within the scope of the pilot project, data collected from Medipol Mega Hospital employees, School of Business and Management Sciences faculty members and Istanbul Medipol University students were presented.

Raise Your Voice!

School of Business and Management Sciences, Department of International Trade and Finance (English) students Rabia Uyar, Dilara Sırtıkara, and Betül Ayhan raised their voices against gender inequality with the project they prepared. The group, which created various mock-up brochures and social media materials, also drew attention to SDG 5: Gender Equality with the YouTube video they prepared.

Mehmet Eskici, Ozan Şahingöz, Şuayip Göksu and Yağmur Tozan created a website to draw attention to Responsible Production and Consumption, the 12th Sustainable Development Goal. Through the website, you can learn about sustainable production and responsible consumption and access Turkiye's responsible production and consumption data.

We Will Protect Our Seas with Participate - Clean - Save - Recycle!

Engin Buluryer and Yasemin Demircioğlu developed an application aiming to raise social awareness. The application notifies users of the activities created for the cleaning of polluted water and polluted coasts selected from instant location information or on the map in line with the Join - Clean - Save - Recycle goals. Thanks to the information network created, it is aimed to contribute to the recycling of garbage collected from the coastline and the cleanliness of our coasts and seas.

Seed Pen Project!

In the project prepared by Enise Selvitopu, Hilal Hatunoğlu, Kutay Kızmaz and Simge Akbaş, a school in Pendik was visited and a sustainability-themed programme was prepared for students. At the end of the programme, the seed pens distributed to the students were brought together with nature.
