Mission - Vision

Mission

To be a department that contributes to children, youth, families, and society by educating qualified graduates in the field of Child Development who add value through their professional competencies; conducts national and international studies to understand and explain child development and its related factors; contributes to human development; and develops projects using contemporary approaches related to children, families, educators, and society. Furthermore, the department aims to implement and disseminate these projects for the benefit of children and families from all segments of society.

Vision

To educate child development professionals who have acquired a science-based understanding of high-quality education and research, and who possess competencies specific to the profession of Child Development; who respect human rights and children's rights in order to protect, support, and improve child development; and who adopt principles such as objectivity, honesty, scientific integrity, social responsibility, and strong ethical values. In addition, the department aims to contribute to science and society through collaborative work with institutions, organizations, and professionals related to child development; to provide graduate-level education and conduct scholarly studies; and to deliver high-quality education, research, and consultancy services.
