Program Educational Objectives
- To train competent midwives equipped with comprehensive professional knowledge and skills, adopting a holistic approach to protecting and improving the health of women, newborns, children, and the community.
- To train healthcare professionals who adhere to ethical values in line with our professional philosophy, embrace evidence-based practices, respect cultural differences, and communicate effectively.

Program Competencies
- Possesses the knowledge and skills to provide services to women, newborns, children, and families with a holistic approach sensitive to cultural differences.
- Has the knowledge and skills to carry out follow-ups and services that ensure the protection, maintenance, and improvement of health.
- Ensures safe conditions during pregnancy, labor, and birth processes; manages risky and emergency situations, and conducts the birthing process independently.
- Provides quality care for the adaptation of the woman, newborn, and family after birth.
- Has the knowledge and skills to provide individualized care in case of termination or loss of pregnancy in accordance with national laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Performs practices in line with relevant legislation, professional ethics, principles, and standards.
- Carries out practices in a culturally sensitive manner in the light of current scientific evidence, technological developments, and current health policies.
- Participates in research, education, and projects related to the field; takes an active role in translating results into practice.
- Participates in, leads, and provides consultancy for studies related to supporting women in their field of service.
- Communicates and collaborates with the healthcare team and all other disciplines in their practices.
- Possesses lifelong learning, openness to development, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Has a level of English proficiency sufficient to follow current literature and communicate with colleagues.
