| Course Content | This course contains; A brief introduction to business history,Philosophy, Science and Management Concepts,Scientific and epistemological approach versus management approach,Management literature within the framework of the criteria of science and the scientific nature of social sciences,Methodology and research in management science,The role of scientific communities in the management discipline,Decision making in organizations, total quality management and management by objectives principles,Models, approaches and heuristics in management thought,Philosophy of Evidence based management,Realism/Idealism and Management,Schools of thought in management: Competing or complementary paradigms?,Critical school and management,Comparison of modern management philosophies and examination of their similar aspects.,General evaluation within the framework of the end-of-term literature. |
