| Aim | This course introduces medical students to the fundamental concepts and applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in medicine. Students will learn about AI technologies, how they are transforming healthcare, and gain practical skills to implement AI solutions in medical practice and in their medical education. The course first introduces fundamentals of programming, problem solving and algorithm development using Pyhton programming language which is widely used in AI due to its simplicity, versatility, and the extensive range of libraries and frameworks it offers. Then, students will learn various AI models, data analysis, data visualization, model development, model evaluation and refinement mehods, ethical and legal issues in AI in the field of medicine. The course combines theoretical concepts with practical case studies and hands-on exercises/projects. |
