| Aim | This course is designed to introduce students to the stress and trauma in psychology. This lesson draws on theoretical knowledge and application from the growing field of psychological trauma literature. We will overview different traumatic events as well as responses to them. This course also includes learning basic intervention methods on trauma. After this course, students will develop a comprehensive understanding of trauma as one of the most crucial fields in psychology. This course focuses on both theoretical knowledge and practical applications, such as psychological first aid and trauma interventions. This will help students have more insights into stress and trauma in the psychological field. |
