| Aim | The aim of this course is to enable students to learn and internalize the concepts of ethics, morality, and deontology; ethical principles and standards of practice in occupational therapy; and clinical and research ethics; to recognize ethical issues and dilemmas that may arise in occupational therapy practice; to develop ethical reasoning and decision-making skills; and to apply ethical principles within person-centered, occupation-focused, and professional practice contexts so that they can demonstrate professional and ethical behavior as members of the rehabilitation team. |
