Aim	To teach the voice anatomy. To give information about voice protection and training. To give information about posture, breathing, legato, register, articulation, dialect, tongue, palate and hançere and extended voice range. To teach voice techniques for various musical style and specialize on singing based on individual voice characteristics.
Course Content	This course contains; 1. Overview of voice anatomy and protection. Technical analyzing of student’s voice.,2. Overview of voice physiology and techniques, breathing, vibration and resonance system. Technical exercises.,3. Exercises on posture and breathing techniques. Melodic breathing and vocal exercises mixed rhythmic patterns and third interval.,4. Analyzing and listening to the samples of recordings combined with technical exercises. Melodic breathing and vocal exercises on pieces mixed rhythmic patterns and third interval.,5. Technical information about connection between chest register and head register and melodic vocal exercises on third and fourth intervals and mixed rhythmic patterns.,6. Melodic vocal exercises on third and fourth intervals mixed rhythmic patterns and triple rhythmic patterns on fifth intervals via improving register and extended the voice range.,7. Overview of hançere differences in musical styles. Melodic vocal exercises on third and fourth intervals and mixed rhythmic patterns via improving hançere. MIDTERM,8. Determination of pieces for examination, text, performance and style analysis on pieces.,9. Overview of mouth, tongue and palate positions in voice training, ascending and descending melodic vocal exercises, in third, fourth and fifth intervals and mixed and triple rhythmic patterns.,10. Melodic vocal exercises on third, fourth and fifth intervals and mixed rhythmic patterns by using breathing, mouth, tongue, palate, articulation and hançere. Practice on pieces-1,11.
