| Aim | This course aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the historical, alternative, and contemporary approaches to English Language Teaching (ELT). It seeks to foster critical awareness of how different methods and trends have shaped language pedagogy, and how they continue to influence current practices. By exploring learner-centred approaches, technology-enhanced learning, and online platforms, the course encourages students to connect theory with classroom practice. Ultimately, it aims to guide students in synthesizing diverse perspectives in order to develop their own personal teaching framework and working philosophy of language education. |
