| Aim | This course is an introduction to the philosophy of film. How films affect the audience at the levels of seeing, hearing, touching and thinking. How framing, gaze and narrative shape experience. How the digital moving image transform these relationships. Students learn the main theoretical debates and apply them in discussions. |
