Aim	The main purpose of this course is to provide students with the competence to analyze the multi-layered effects of artificial intelligence on company law, to question the adequacy of the current legal framework in the face of this new technology, and to make predictions for future legal regulations. In line with this general purpose, the course focuses on the following sub-objectives: Establishing a Conceptual Foundation: To provide students with a solid foundation in the technical infrastructure of artificial intelligence (Machine Learning, Deep Learning, etc.) and the fundamental principles of company law (legal personality, corporate organs, liability, etc.), thereby preparing a common language and ground for understanding for complex legal and ethical discussions. Developing Legal Sensitivity: To enable students to develop a legal sensitivity to the new risks and opportunities presented by artificial intelligence. Integrating Technical and Legal Concepts: To seek answers to the question of how legal norms can be applied to a system without consciousness by "translating" the statistical and probability-based technical workings of artificial intelligence into human-centric legal concepts such as rights, obligations, causality, and fault. Analyzing Practical Impacts: To examine, through case studies, the transformative effects of artificial intelligence on concrete areas of company law practice, such as the decision-making processes of the board of directors, the director's duty of care and loyalty, the functioning of the general assembly, merger and acquisition (M&A) processes, and corporate compliance programs. Providing an International Perspective: To provide students with a vision to understand the global dynamics and potential future developments of the subject by analyzing international regulations, particularly the European Union's Artificial Intelligence Act (EU AI Act), and comparative law practices.
