Aim
Train lawyers who detect and evaluate problems in the field of public law, make proposals to the resolution of dispute, have scientific research skills and expertise in specific areas and generate original ideas.Qualification Awarded

- To have graduated from a Master's program with a thesis, - To have obtained a score of 55 or higher in the ALES "Equal Weight" (Eşit Ağırlık) score type, - To have obtained a score of at least 55 on the YDS or YÖKDİL exams, or to submit a result document equivalent to a score of 55 from a foreign language exam recognized as equivalent by YÖK (Council of Higher Education). - The final score is calculated by summing 50% of the ALES score, 20% of the Master's grade point average, and 30% of the interview score. Applications for the announced graduate programs must be submitted in accordance with the prescribed procedures and within the timeframes specified in the announcement.Graduation Requirements
The doctoral program consists of at least seven courses totaling no fewer than 21 credits, a seminar, a comprehensive examination, a dissertation proposal, and dissertation research. The program consists of a total of at least 240 ECTS credits, with no fewer than 60 ECTS credits per academic year. Candidates who successfully complete at least seven courses totaling no fewer than 21 credits, the seminar, the comprehensive examination, the dissertation proposal, and the dissertation are entitled to receive a doctoral degree.Recognition of Prior Learning

PY1) In light of the current developments in the field of public law, develop and deepen the knowledge about the main sources, legislation and jurisprudence which related to the public law.

Full TimeAssessment and Evaluation
Passing and graduation success criteria and passing grade for each course in graduate programs are carried out according to the provisions of Higher Education and other legislation. In our Public Law PhD Program, course success is measured in essay, oral and written procedures. The Qualifying Exam is the most important milestone. After taking all the necessary courses, the student's readiness to write a thesis is measured by a very comprehensive "Qualifying Exam". The most important success criterion in doctoral education is the candidate's capacity to conduct original research on his/her own. Learning Experiences
Learning situations aim to develop students' creative, critical, reflective thinking skills and higher level thinking skills such as logical and mathematical thinking skills. In addition, it aims to develop students' meta-cognitive skills.
