Bayram Eren Celep crowned world champion
Competing at the Kickboxing World Championship, Istanbul Medipol University student Bayram Eren Celep claimed the world title by outperforming his rivals.

Bayram Eren Celep, a student at Istanbul Medipol University, won the world championship in the 81 kg Senior Men’s Low Kick category at the Kickboxing World Championship held in Abu Dhabi between 21–30 November. The championship, which attracted strong participation this year, featured athletes from 16 different countries competing in the same category.
Throughout the tournament, Celep delivered a consistently strong performance, advancing through the preliminary and quarterfinal rounds before defeating a formidable opponent in the semifinals to secure a place in the final. In the final bout, he faced Polish athlete Dominik Kaleta, where Celep stood out with his technical superiority and effective control of the match. By defeating his opponent, he claimed the gold medal in the 81 kg Low Kick category.
