Background

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, under the School of Health Sciences at Istanbul Medipol University, commenced its educational activities at the Unkapanı Campus in the 2015-2016 academic year. The department celebrated its first graduating class at the end of the 2018-2019 academic year.

The Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Undergraduate Program offers a comprehensive four-year curriculum designed to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, ensuring they graduate as well-rounded physiotherapists.

The future objectives of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at Istanbul Medipol University include: remaining open to new visions and strategies that will further advance our educational programs, elevating the quality of scientific research, continuing to produce and disseminate universal knowledge, and contributing to the advancement of physiotherapy and rehabilitation science by leveraging 21st-century information technologies.
