History

Establishment

Our Faculty was established under the Rectorate of Istanbul Medipol University, which was founded by the Türkiye Education, Health and Research (TESA) Foundation, in accordance with the provisions of the Higher Education Institutions section of Law No. 2547, pursuant to Article 1 of Law No. 5913 dated 23.06.2009.

The Faculty admitted its first students in the 2010–2011 academic year and began education at the Haliç Campus. In the 2013–2014 academic year, master’s education commenced in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, followed by the initiation of doctoral education in the spring semester of the 2015–2016 academic year. In addition, master’s education in the Department of Pharmacognosy began in the 2020–2021 academic year.

Our Faculty has been graduating students since the 2014–2015 academic year.

Campus Location

Since the 2016–2017 academic year, our Faculty has continued its educational activities in classrooms and laboratories allocated at the Kavacık South Campus of our university.
