The primary objective of the program is to cultivate healthcare professionals proficient in applying scientific methodologies for the diagnosis of hearing loss and equilibrium disorders. These professionals are qualified to administer auditory and vestibular tests to determine hearing thresholds and ensure optimal auditory rehabilitation. Furthermore, they provide essential guidance to patients regarding the utilization of hearing aids prescribed by Otorhinolaryngologists (ENT specialists).

Graduates are eligible to serve in the audiology clinics of public and private hospitals under the supervision of an audiologist or an ENT specialist. Their scope of practice includes performing neonatal hearing screenings in maternity wards and conducting auditory screening programs in educational institutions. Additionally, given the increasing demand for specialized technical expertise, career opportunities are available within private diagnostic centers and with distributors of hearing aids and cochlear implants
