To provide information on the history of anesthesia, the duties of anesthesia technicians, determination of anesthesia risk, circulatory and respiratory physiology, intravenous, inhalational and local anesthetics, narcotic analgesics, perioperative antibiotic and antiemetic use.

This course contains; 1.Anaesthesia, its history and the role of anaesthesia technician,2.Respiratory and circulatory physiology,3.Anaesthesia and monitarisation,4.Identifying the risks of anaesthesia,5.ASA classification, Cardiac Risk Index of Goldman,6.Scope of modern anesthesia practices,7.Anesthesia and respiratory theraphy in intensive care,8.IV anesthetics,9.Inhalational anesthetics,10.Narcotic analgesics,11.Local anesthetics, local anesthetic toxicity ,12.Increase and prolonged the effects of local anesthetics,13.Vasoactive agents,14.Perioperative antibiotics, antiemetics and nausea-vomiting.
