| Bu dersin sonunda öğrenci; Patolojinin temel konularını ve laboratuvar tekniklerini değerlendirebilir ve patoloji laboratuvarının işleyişi hakkında temel bilgileri edinir. Patolojinin tanımını yapar. Patolojinin kullandığı yöntemleri tanımlar ve örnekler verir. Zedelenmeye karşı hücredeki değişiklikler, uyum mekanizmaları, hücre hasarı ve iltihabın temel kavramlarını değerlendirebilecektir. Hücre zedelenmesinin nedenleri ve oluşum mekanizmaları, hücre ölümü ve nekroz, hücresel yaşlanma sonucunda oluşan fizyopatolojik değişimleri tanımlar. Apoptoz ve nekroz arasındaki farkı öğrenir, apoptoz mekanizmasını kavrar. Neoplazi ve karsinogenezin temel kavramlarını değerlendirebilecektir. Tümörlerin isimlendirilmesi, malign ve benign tümörlerin temel özelliklerini tanımlar. Kanser oluşumuna neden olan faktörler, kanser epidemiyolojisinin temellerini kavrar. Kanser yayılım aşamaları ve tümörlerin derecelendirilmesi ve evrelendirilmesini özetler ve örnekler verir. Kanserin klinik ve laboratuvara yansıyan bulgularını kavrar , İmmün sistemin normal ve patolojik süreçlerdeki işleyişini özetler. İmmün sistemin normal elemanlarını bilir. Hipersensitivite reaksiyonlarının temel mekanizmalarını, çeşitli örneklerini özetler. Otoimmün bozukluklar ve immün yetmezliklerin temelleri hakkında bilgi verir. Hematolojik hastalıkların genel özelliklerini tanımlar. Lenf düğümünün normal yapısını tanır. Lenf düğümündeki reaktif değişiklikleri tanımlar. Hematolojik maligniteleri hücre tiplerine göre sınıflar. Kemik iliğindeki beyaz küre hastalıklarını sınıflar. Dalak tutulumu ile seyreden hastalıkları bilir. Patojenlerine göre enfeksiyöz hastalıkların dokulara etkilerini anlatır. Enfeksiyon hastalıkları patolojisini açıklayabilir. Bakterilerin, virüslerin, mantar ve parazitlerin hastalık yapma mekanizmaları yorumlayabilir. Enfeksiyon etkenlerinin yaptığı hastalıkları sınıflandırabilmek, mekanizmalarını açıklayabilir. Endokrin organlardaki inflamatuar, benign ve malign hastalıkları tanır. Tiroid, paratiroid, hipofiz, adrenal glandın benign-malign lezyonlarının temel özelliklerini bilir. Diabetus mellitusun patogenezini ve organlar üzerindeki etkisini tanımlayabilir.12.6. Memenin neoplastik ve nonneoplastik lezyonlarını bilir. Kalp ve damar hastalıklarının patogenezini ve sınıflamasını öğrenir. Romatizmal kalp hastalıklarının temel özelliklerini açıklar. Kalp kapak hastalıklarının mekanizmalarını öğrenir. Kardiyomyopatiler ve myokardın iltihabi hastalıkları hakkında bilgi sahibi olur. İskemik kalp hastalıklarının patogenezini açıklar. Damarların sklerotik ve iltihabi hastalıklarının temel özellikleri hakkında bilgi verir. Solunum sisteminde gelişen inflamatuar ve neoplastik süreçleri betimler. Üst solunum yolunun benign ve malign hastalıklarını tanımlar. Akciğerin obstruktif ve restriktif hastalıklarını sınıflar. Akciğerin vasküler hastalıkları hakkında bilgi sahibi olur. Akciğerin sık enfeksiyöz hastalıklarının gelişim mekanizmalarını öğrenir. Akciğer ve plevranın tümörlerini sınıflar, morfolojik görünümlerini açıklar. Gastrointestinal sistem, karaciğer, safra yolları, pankreasta gelişen inflamatuar ve neoplastik süreçleri betimler. Özefagus, mide, ince barsak ve kalın barsağın inflamatuar hastalıklarının temel özelliklerini tanımlar ve neoplazilerini sınıflar, morfolojik görünümlerini tanımlar. Karaciğerin iltihabi hastalıkları ve sirozun gelişim basamaklarını kavrar. Pankreas, karaciğer ve safra yollarını nneoplazileri hakkında bilgi sahibi olur , Kadın ve erkek ürogenital sistemde gelişen inflamatuar ve neoplastik süreçleri betimler . Böbreğin glomerüler ve tübüler sistemin iltihabi hastalıklarını sınıflar, patogenezlerinin temel mekanizmalrını bilir. Vulva, serviks, endometrium , tuba uterinanın ve overin inflamatuar hastalıkların ve neoplastik lezyonlarını sınıflar. Mesane ve prostatın iltihabi hastalıklarını tanır. Böbrek, mesane, protat ve testisin tümörlerini morfolojik görünümleri ile sınıflar, Santral sinir sistemi ve periferik sinir sisteminde görülebilecek patolojik süreçlerin isimlerini sayar. Sinir sisteminin damar, enfeksiyöz, dejeneratif ve demyelinizan hastalıklarının gelişim mekanizmaları hakkında bilgi sahibi olur. Sinir sisteminin tümörlerinin benign ve malign ayrım kriterlerini bilir. Deri ve lokomotor sistemde gelişen hastalıklar hakkında genel bilgiye sahip olur. Derinin inflamatuar hastalıkları hakkında bilgi sahibi olur. Derinin belli başlı malign tümörlerinin (bazal hücreli karsinom, skuamoz hücreli karsinom, malign melanom) morfolojik özelliklerini tanımlar. Kemik ve eklemlerin iltihabi hastalıkları hakkında bilgi sahibi olur. Kemik ve yumuşak dokunun belli başlı neoplazinin sınıflar. , Çeşitli organ sistemlerindeki farklı hastalıkların makroskopik ve mikroskopik özelliklerini tanıyabilir.Doku, organ ve sistemler ile ilgili temel bilgiler ile patolojik süreçler arasındaki neden sonuç ilişkisini gösterebilir.
