| Aim | This course is designed to equip international relations students with strategic thinking skills and enable them to understand the complex dynamics of global politics within an analytical framework. By applying fundamental concepts of game theory to the field of international relations, the course aims to develop students' abilities to systematically analyze strategic interactions among states, international organizations, and non-state actors. The course adopts an intuitive learning approach that requires no mathematical background and emphasizes hands-on learning through interactive simulations, role-playing exercises, and real-world case analyses. Students will comprehend the strategic logic behind international events such as diplomatic crises, trade wars, alliance formations, and security dilemmas, enabling them to recognize the underlying orderly structures beneath the apparent complexity of global politics. |
