| Aim | The aim of this course is for students to acquire basic knowledge and skills for protecting and improving mental health; to be able to identify the biopsychosocial and cultural needs of individuals with psychiatric disorders; understand the epidemiology, etiology, symptoms, and findings of the most common mental disorders, as well as current treatment approaches; and develop the competence to plan, implement, and evaluate psychiatric nursing care within the framework of ethical principles, legal regulations, and professional values. |
