2026-2027 Academic Year English Preparatory Level Placement Test

The 2026-2027 Academic Year English Placement Test will be held face-to-face on 11.09.2026 at 09:00 at the Istanbul Medipol University Kavacik South Campus.

The exam will start at 09:00 and end at 10:15. The exam duration is 75 minutes.

There is no requirement to submit an application for this exam. All students whose registration for the English Preparatory Program is complete have been listed for the exam.

The Placement Test is not an exemption exam; it is not possible to be exempt from preparatory education through this exam.

The purpose of the Placement Test is to place students in classes appropriate for their level. No grades will be shared with the students.

Students must absolutely attend this exam, which will determine the level they will be placed in throughout their Preparatory education. Students who do not participate in the exam cannot be placed in a class suitable for their level. All students whose registration is complete have been listed. Students who are listed but do not take this exam will not have the opportunity to take any other Placement Test.

Since switching between levels is not possible later on, it is important for students to complete this exam using their own knowledge in order to be placed in the correct level.

Student schedules and classrooms will be published on dilokulu.medipol.edu.tr by 15.09.2026 at the latest.

Due to the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) regulations, student numbers and full names cannot be openly shared. Therefore, the information on the list has been partially masked.

Accordingly: When searching for your student number on the list, type the first two and last two digits of your number and put four asterisks () in between. Then check the initials of your name and surname in the row you find. Example: For a student named Jane Doe with the number 45334389, search as 45****89. Then verify that your name appears as "45****89 – J*** D**." in the relevant row.

Points our students must pay attention to when coming to the exam:

• Knowing your student number. (Class assignments will not be done by name.)

• Having a valid ID, driver's license, or passport. (Istanbul Kart or other documents are not valid.)

• Bringing a soft-lead pencil and an eraser.

• Having learned the exam classroom in advance. (dilokulu.medipol.edu.tr)

• Students who finish the exam must leave the building immediately.

Students are prohibited from keeping any electronic devices such as computers, mobile phones, smartwatches, earphones, etc., with them during the exam. They must leave such devices with their companions.

Parents of students will not be allowed inside, except for those accompanying students with special needs or disabilities.

In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law, the classrooms where students will take the exam have been announced using student numbers. Since students will not be able to find their exam locations using their names, they must know the student numbers provided to them during registration.
