English Preparatory Program Proficiency Exam – 7 September Exam Results and 9 September Speaking Exam List

The Speaking Exam, which is a component of the 2026-2027 Academic Year English Preparatory Program Proficiency Exam, will be held face-to-face on Wednesday, 9 September 2026, at 09:00 at Kavacık North Campus, Block A.

Students who scored 75 or above in the written component of the Proficiency Exam held on 7 September 2026 are exempt from the English Preparatory Program.

Students who scored between 60 and 74 in the first written component of the exam are eligible to take the face-to-face Speaking Exam on 9 September 2026. The Speaking Exam will be assessed out of 100 points, and students who score 75 or above will be exempt from the English Preparatory Program.

Students who scored below 60 in the first written component, as well as students who score below 75 in the Speaking Exam, will attend the English Preparatory Program during the 2026-2027 Academic Year.

Important Information About the Exam

Students must be present in front of their assigned exam room 15 minutes before the exam time indicated in the list above.

Students are required to bring and present their student ID card and/or an official photo ID to the exam staff.

There is no make-up exam.

The exam will consist of three parts for each student: Warm-up, Monologue, and Dialogue.

The final results of the Proficiency Exam will be announced via MEBIS on Wednesday, 9 September 2026. The results of students who are exempt from the English Preparatory Program or who are unsuccessful in the Proficiency Exam will be available only through MEBIS. No additional notification will be provided by e-mail, telephone, or the School of Languages website.

The list of students who will attend the English Preparatory Program and are required to take the Placement Test will be published on the School of Languages website on Thursday, 10 September 2026. Students whose names appear on this list are required to attend the face-to-face Placement Test to be held on Friday, 11 September 2026.
