About English Preparatory Summer Course Program and Registration

The 2025–2026 Summer Course will be held from June 29 to August 7, 2026. Classes will be conducted face-to-face five days a week in the classrooms located in North Campus A Block.

The class lists will continue simultaneously with the registration, so students who want to register and find out their class are kindly requested to consult the language school planning unit in office AZ-01 before the lesson time.

The summer course is only available for "active" students enrolled in Istanbul Medipol University English Preparatory Program.

Attendance is compulsory for the 6 weeks’ summer course. Students are permitted to miss up to 20% of all classes held during the summer course.

The hours of the summer course, which consists of 28 hours of weekly face-to-face classes are as follows;

09.00 - 10.20 (1^st and 2^nd lessons)

10.35 - 11.55 (3^rd and 4^th lessons)

12.40 - 14.00 (5^th and 6^th lessons)

*On Fridays, classes end at 11.55.*

Evaluation Criteria

Online Homework:  10%

Project Work :20%

Portfolio Work: 20%

End of Summer Course Examination: 50%

End of Summer Course Examination (face to face/main part+writing+speaking) will be held.

* Summer Course passing grade is 75. In order for students to be successful in the summer course, they must score at least 75 points, taking into account the criteria mentioned above.

ENGLISH SUMMER COURSE PAYMENT PROCESS

Payments for the course fees will start as of 29.06.2026 and must be completed by the end of 03.07.2026. Payments will be made as stated below.

The course fee is 52.500 TL for OSYM registered students and 1.250 USD for international students. The Summer Course fee includes books and resources to be used.

Only OSYM registered students can pay the course fee by credit card on MEBIS payment transactions page. Cash collections will not be made at our university and cash payments can be paid to the following account information via money order / EFT.

*Don't forget to write Student Name, Surname, Student number and prep summer course in the Description section of the receipt.

* Payments made to USD account; It is calculated based on the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey exchange rate one day before the date the payment is received in our account.

* In case of any problems, it is necessary to contact South Campus Student Accounting. Book distributions will be made to students whose payments have been completed.
