“Distinguished Service Award” presented to Prof. Hüseyin Arslan

As part of the events organized for World Engineers’ Day on 5 December, the Turkish Engineers Association honored Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Arslan with the “Distinguished Service Award” in recognition of his pioneering contributions to wireless communication technologies.

At the event titled “The Future of Engineering in Our Country,” held by the Turkish Engineers Association on the occasion of both World Engineers’ Day on 5 December and the association’s founding anniversary, the “Distinguished Service Award” was presented to Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Arslan, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Istanbul Medipol University. 

A New Step in Türkiye’s 6G Roadmap: The “Clustering Project” from Medipol

Within the scope of the event, expert talks were delivered addressing the transformation of engineering in Türkiye, emerging technological trends, and future-oriented roadmaps. In this context, Prof. Dr. Arslan widely recognized for his significant national and international contributions to the advancement of wireless communication technologies and for his leadership in the 6G communication clustering initiative, which has strengthened Türkiye’s competitiveness in communication technologies was highlighted as one of the exemplary academics in the field.

During the award ceremony, representatives of the association emphasized that the projects led by Prof. Dr. Arslan have provided substantial momentum not only to the academic community but also to industry and public-sector collaborations. Prof. Dr. Arslan, in turn, stated that this meaningful award further reinforced his motivation to contribute to the advancement of engineering in Türkiye and expressed his gratitude to the Turkish Engineers Association.
