Research and publication ethics under discussion: Artificial intelligence at the core
At the “Roadmap for Research and Publication Ethics” event held at Istanbul Medipol University, ethical responsibility, originality, and the boundaries of artificial intelligence use in academic research were discussed with a focus on graduate students.
Organized by the Institute of Health Sciences at Istanbul Medipol University, the event titled “A Roadmap for Research and Publication Ethics: The Right Steps for Graduate Students” took place at the South Campus Conference Hall.
The opening remarks was delivered by Prof. Dr. Neslin Emekli, Director of the Institute of Health Sciences at Istanbul Medipol University. Throughout the event, it was emphasized that academic work conducted at the graduate level carries not only scientific value but also ethical responsibility, highlighting the importance of building a research culture on a sound ethical foundation.
The event was attended by academics and students, including Dr. Mahmut Tokaç, Assistant Professor at Istanbul Medipol University Faculty of Medicine, and Prof. Dr. Gürkan Sert, Professor at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine.
