The handover ceremony of the Dean’s Office at the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences has taken place

The deanship of the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences at Istanbul Medipol University has been handed over. The current Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Gökhan Silahtaroğlu, handed over his duties to Prof. Dr. Serhat Yüksel. The new dean, Yüksel, officially took office at a ceremony.

PROF. SİLAHTAROĞLU: THE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS OF OUR FACULTY WILL CONTINUE WITH DETERMINATION 

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Gökhan Silahtaroğlu stated that numerous initiatives had been carried out during his term to strengthen the faculty’s academic capacity and shared the following remarks:

“As of today, I have completed my term as Dean. For a long time, we have worked intensively to ensure that our faculty attains a stronger structure both academically and administratively. I would like to thank all our faculty members and colleagues who contributed to this process. The deanship is a relay duty. I firmly believe that our faculty will continue to move forward with the same determination in the new period. I wish Prof. Dr. Serhat Yüksel every success as he assumes this role and sincerely believe that he will make significant contributions to our faculty.”

Prof. Dr. Silahtaroğlu concluded his remarks by expressing his gratitude to the entire academic and administrative staff.

PROF. YÜKSEL: WE AIM TO TRANSFORM OUR FACULTY INTO A MORE EFFECTIVE AND PARTICIPAROTY STRUCTURE 

Upon assuming office, Prof. Dr. Serhat Yüksel emphasized their intention to further advance the faculty’s existing potential and stated:

“Taking on the role of Dean of the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences is both a great responsibility and a source of pride for me. I would like to thank Prof. Dr. Gökhan Silahtaroğlu for his valuable contributions to the development of our faculty. Together with our academic staff, I aim to establish a more effective and participatory working environment.”

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Gökhan Silahtaroğlu presented Prof. Dr. Serhat Yüksel with flowers and a commemorative plaque.
