Prof. Bayram: Artificial intelligence can offer tailored courses

Prof. Servet Bayram, the Dean of the School of Education at Istanbul Medipol University, made statements to Anadolu Agency. Noting that artificial intelligence-based platforms can adapt personalized content to teaching according to students’ learning speed, style, and needs, Prof. Bayram said: “In traditional teaching processes, teachers usually apply a single course plan for the entire class. Students progress according to the teacher’s pace, and all students in the class try to learn the same content at the same pace. This creates limitations in meeting individual needs. While some students progress rapidly, others may fall behind. Adaptive learning systems can provide customized courses based on each student’s strengths and weaknesses. In short, AI tools can provide flexibility and efficiency, both in personalizing students’ learning experiences and in reducing teachers’ workload.”
