Future investment opportunities discussed at Financial Literacy Summit

The “Financial Literacy Summit” organized by Istanbul Medipol University Career Office brought together important names from the financial world with students. The summit discussed solutions for individuals to make conscious investments and the importance of financial literacy. Delivering the opening speech, Dr. Duygu İlhan, Director of the Career Office, stated that the summit aims to increase financial literacy awareness at the event held in the South Campus Conference Hall. Dr. İlhan said: “Financial literacy has become an essential skill for individuals. At the summit, we want to offer our participants new perspectives with leading experts in the field. I believe that with the information shared on this platform, more conscious attitudes and behaviors will be developed in the long run.”

FOUR SESSIONS WERE HELD AT THE SUMMIT 
The summit consisted of four sessions, each addressing a different financial perspective. In the first session, titled “Becoming a Conscious Investor in the Stock Market”, Ahlatcı Portföy General Manager Tonguç Erbaş, QNB Invest Deputy General Manager Soner Küçük, and Info Investment Analyst Oğuzhan Bıkmaz discussed the strategies that individual investors should follow to make conscious decisions. Moderated by Numan Özakpınar, the session also covered developments in the financial markets.
