Three programs of VSSS accredited by MEDEK
The Banking and Insurance, Accounting and Tax Applications, and Applied English Translation Programs affiliated with the Vocational School of Social Sciences (VSSS) at Istanbul Medipol University were accredited by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Vocational Education (MEDEK).

Istanbul Medipol University Vocational School of Social Sciences (VSSS) has achieved a significant success. As a result of the visits, consistency reviews, and general evaluations made by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Vocational Education (MEDEK), the Banking and Insurance, Accounting and Tax Applications, and Applied English Translation Programs affiliated with VSSS have been granted a four-year full accreditation. Thus, the programs have become among the first vocational school programs to be accredited in Türkiye.
PRESIDENT CERAN: VSSS IS AMONG THE FIRST IN TÜRKİYE
Istanbul Medipol University President Prof. Ömer Ceran expressed his satisfaction with the accreditation of the Banking and Insurance, Accounting and Tax Applications, and Applied English Translation programs by MEDEK. Underlining that our university received full accreditation for five years from the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) at the end of last year, President Ceran said: “The achievement of VSSS reflects the determined work carried out by our university in line with the goal of excellence in education. These accreditations, obtained as a result of the meticulous examination and evaluation carried out by MEDEK, certify the compliance of our relevant programs with national standards. At the same time, this success will provide our graduates with a more solid foundation in their career journeys and make them competitive in the business world. Being among the first accredited vocational school programs in Türkiye is an important step not only for our university but also for the development of our country in the field of vocational education. I would like to congratulate the management of the Vocational School of Social Sciences, our academic staff, and all our employees who contributed to this process, and emphasize that we will walk together towards greater goals for continued success.”
