YKS champions choose Medipol once again: All three top scorers select Medipol

The 2026 placement results of the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) once again demonstrated Istanbul Medipol’s prominent position among Türkiye’s highest-achieving students. Four of the top five students nationwide and 27 of the top 100 chose to continue their education at İstanbul Medipol. The fact that all three students who ranked first nationwide chose Medipol International School of Medicine once again highlighted the University’s success, particularly in medical education.

At the press conference introducing the YKS top scorers, İstanbul Medipol’s achievements in the 2026 YKS placement results were evaluated, while the top-ranking students who chose İstanbul Medipol and the academic opportunities offered to them were also presented to the public.
 

ALL THREE YKS TOP SCORERS CHOOSE MEDIPOL INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF MEDICINE
The 2026 YKS placement results once again highlighted İstanbul Medipol’s strong position among Türkiye’s highest-achieving students. Four of the top five students nationwide and 27 students ranked among the top 100 chose Istanbul Medipol for their university education.

All three students who ranked first nationwide chose Medipol International School of Medicine, further underscoring Istanbul Medipol’s strong standing in medical education.

Maintaining its prominent position in health sciences and medical education, İstanbul Medipol once again ranked among Türkiye’s leading institutions in the 2026 placement results. This year, all students admitted to Medipol International School of Medicine ranked among Türkiye’s top 27 candidates, reinforcing the School’s position among the country’s highest-scoring medical schools.

Another notable achievement was that all three students who ranked first nationwide with additional TÜBİTAK scores chose Medipol International School of Medicine. In addition, the nationwide rankings showed that the two highest-scoring medical schools, as well as four of the top six medical schools, are at İstanbul Medipol, further demonstrating the University’s strength in medical education.
 

İSTANBUL MEDİPOL RANKS AMONG THE TOP IN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE PROGRAMS
İstanbul Medipol also achieved notable results with its artificial intelligence-focused academic programs, reflecting its emphasis on emerging professions and technological transformation.

The Business and Artificial Intelligence Department, which welcomed its first cohort this year, admitted students ranked within the top 208 nationwide and became the fifth highest-scoring program in Türkiye in the Equal Weight score category in its inaugural year.

Combining an interdisciplinary approach with artificial intelligence, the Philosophy and Artificial Intelligence Department admitted students ranked within the top 753, while the History and Artificial Intelligence Department accepted students ranked within the top 1,112.
 

The Artificial Intelligence Engineering Program, meanwhile, admitted students ranked within the top 182 nationwide, maintaining its leading position in the field for the second consecutive year.

Students who achieve outstanding rankings in the YKS and choose Istanbul Medipol benefit from a comprehensive range of financial and educational support throughout their studies.
