Türkiye's First Business and Artificial Intelligence Program opened at Medipol

Istanbul Medipol University is launching Türkiye's first Business and Artificial Intelligence (English) undergraduate program with an innovative approach that integrates business education with artificial intelligence technologies. Established within the School of Business and Management Sciences, the program aims to educate professionals who are proficient in technology and have advanced strategic decision-making skills, as required by the business world in which digital transformation is accelerating.

The program, which will admit its first students in the 2026–2027 academic year, brings together the traditional discipline of business with artificial intelligence applications, providing students with a strong academic foundation in both management sciences and next-generation technologies.

Another notable aspect of the program is the course titled "Artificial Intelligence, Ethics and Law," conducted jointly with the Faculty of Law. Through this course, students have the opportunity to evaluate artificial intelligence technologies not only from a technical perspective but also from the perspectives of ethical principles, data security, legal responsibilities, and digital governance.

DOUBLE MAJOR AND INTERDISCIPLINARY DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Istanbul Medipol University offers students double major and minor opportunities that allow them to enrich their academic development through different disciplines. Students who meet the academic achievement requirements may pursue a double major in the Artificial Intelligence Engineering program and develop their technical competencies in areas such as generative artificial intelligence, large language models, and advanced data analytics.

In addition, through minor programs offered by different faculties, students can gain knowledge in areas such as law, information technology law, data privacy, and digital regulation. This interdisciplinary education model supports graduates in developing a versatile career profile in both management and technology.

100 PERCENT ENGLISH-MEDIUM EDUCATION PREPARING STUDENTS FOR THE GLOBAL BUSINESS WORLD
The program, which is taught entirely in English, provides students with the communication and professional competencies required to work in globally operating companies through an educational model designed in line with the needs of the international business world.

Students who rank within the top 1,000 in the Equal Weight score category of the national university entrance examination (YKS) and enroll in the program have the opportunity to receive approximately five months of language education in the United States as part of their preparatory education. Through this university-supported program, students also gain international academic and cultural experience.

A STRONG ACADEMIC STAFF BRINGING TOGETHER ACADEMIC AND INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
The program has a strong academic staff consisting of academics with national and international studies in the fields of business, finance, artificial intelligence, and strategic management. Students who rank within the top 1,000 in the Equal Weight score category of YKS and enroll in the program can benefit from a monthly educational scholarship of TRY 50,000, as well as meal and accommodation support and the opportunity to receive language education in the United States.

For students pursuing an academic career, financial support of up to USD 40,000 per year is provided under the Aziz Sancar PhD Scholarship to support their doctoral education at the world's leading universities.
