Prof. Güntekin has become the first female researcher to receive the Roy John Award

Prof. Dr. Bahar Güntekin, from the School of Medicine, has been awarded the Roy John Award by the EEG and Clinical Neuroscience Society (ECNS), which works on the electrophysiology of the brain. Güntekin has become the first female researcher in the world to receive this award.

Prof. Dr Bahar Güntekin, a School of Medicine faculty member at Istanbul Medipol University,  has been awarded the Roy John Award by the EEG and Clinical Neuroscience Society (ECNS), which works on the electrophysiology of the brain. Holding an important place in the international sphere, the Roy John Award is presented to scientists who have produced over 50 articles on the SCI (Science Citation Index) and contributed to the field. Güntekin has become the first female researcher in the world to do so.
