“The Future of Pharmacy Step by Step” workshop, organized by Istanbul Medipol University’s School of Pharmacy, discussed topics ranging from the transformation of pharmacy education to artificial intelligence and sustainability.

The workshop titled “The Future of Pharmacy Step by Step” organized by Istanbul Medipol University’s School of Pharmacy brought together leading academicians and experts in the field. Many academics including Istanbul Medipol University Vice-President Prof. Yasemin Yüksel Durmaz, Istanbul Medipol University Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Semih Korkut, School of Pharmacy Dean Prof. Gülden Zehra Omurtag, and Antalya Belek University Vice-President Prof. Oğuz Özyaral attended the event which took place at the South Campus Conference Hall. Seven separate sessions, namely “Where is the Future of Pharmacy Education Evolving to?”, “Pharmacy Control and Machine Learning with Wearable Technology”, “Simulation Technologies, Robotic Pharmacy Management, and Patient Medication Tracking Systems”, “Ethics and Law in Pharmacy”, “Smart Stock/Supply Management in Pharmacy”, “The Future of Pharmacy in Disasters and Emergencies”, and “Innovation and Sustainability in Pharmacy”, discussed many topics ranging from pharmacy education to artificial intelligence, from ethical and legal principles to sustainability approaches.
