Medipol students’ significant success at TÜBİTAK: 76 projects supported

76 projects prepared by Istanbul Medipol University students within the scope of TÜBİTAK 2209-A and 2209-B programs were entitled to receive support.

The application results for the 2024/1 term of 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program and 2209-B University Students Industrial Research Projects Support Program, conducted by the TÜBİTAK Scientist Support Programs Directorate (BİDEB), have been announced. 17,889 projects were awarded support in the program, where 34,762 university students applied. As in previous terms, Istanbul Medipol University students achieved significant success with the projects they carried out within the framework of the 2209 A/B Programs. Within the scope of 2209-A projects prepared by Medipol students, a total of 72 projects were accepted, including 22 from the School of Engineering and Natural Sciences, 15 from the School of Health Sciences, 9 from the College of Health Sciences, 6 from the School of International Medicine, 6 from the School of Education, 4 from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, 3 from the School of Pharmacy, 3 from the Vocational School of Health Services, and 1 each from the Schools of Medicine, Law, Fine Arts, Design, and Architecture, and the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences. Within the scope of 2209-B projects, 4 projects in total were eligible to be supported by TÜBİTAK, including 3 from the School of Engineering and Natural Sciences and 1 from the School of Pharmacy.
