New programs that will shape the future have been launched

Istanbul Medipol University, which offers students unlimited opportunities by removing all obstacles to their career development, is expanding its educational offerings in the 2025-2026 academic year with innovative programs that will shape the future. Eleven new programs, spanning a wide range of fields from health and technology to history, gastronomy, and aviation, focus on both present and future professions. With these new programs, Medipol not only provides students with a strong career vision but also a competitive advantage on a national and international scale.

100% ENGLISH MEDICAL EDUCATION BEGINS              
Istanbul Medipol University School of Medicine has launched a new, entirely English-medium Medical Program, in addition to its current 30% English-medium program. In this new program, the School of Medicine will continue to train innovative, research-oriented healthcare professionals equipped with up-to-date knowledge and skills, dedicated to ethical values, and committed to preventive and therapeutic medicine, utilizing advanced technology.

VISIONARY PROGRAM: HISTORY IN ENGLISH  
The 100% English-medium program in History at Istanbul Medipol University’s School of Humanities and Social Sciences aims to provide students not only with historical knowledge but also with critical thinking skills, cross-cultural comparison abilities, and a strong international vision. The program is structured with an interdisciplinary approach. Students learn to analyze historical events not only as products of the past, but also by connecting them to the present and making intellectual inferences for the future. Students who become proficient in academic English during the preparatory period continue their history education with courses taught entirely in English. As part of summer school programs supported by our university, each student has the opportunity to attend courses at distinguished universities in the UK or the US. Students will study Arabic for three years, after which they will strengthen their proficiency by participating in intensive language programs in Arabic-speaking countries. All tuition and accommodation expenses for these programs are covered by our university.

Scholarship Opportunities

All students enrolled in the Department of History receive a 100% full scholarship. Special scholarship opportunities are also available for students who achieve outstanding verbal scores on the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS).

The top 250 students will receive:

•    A monthly stipend of 40,000 TL (for 7 months per year)      
•    Dormitory and food scholarship      
•    Book scholarship      
•    Language education in English and Arabic abroad      
•    Nurettin Topçu PhD Scholarship

Students ranked between 251–1,000 will receive:

•    A monthly stipend of 40,000 TL (for 7 months per year)

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ENGINEERING: THE PROFESSION OF TODAY AND TOMORROW                 
The English-language Artificial Intelligence Engineering Program at the School of Engineering and Natural Sciences stands out as a profession of today and the future. The program provides students with comprehensive and advanced training in fields such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and algorithm development. Istanbul Medipol University aims to prepare its students to be leaders in the technological world by training them in line with the Industry 5.0 vision.

This program offers students exceptional achievement support, offering unique opportunities unparalleled in Türkiye. Artificial Intelligence Engineering students who ranked in the top 1,000 on the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) will have the opportunity to complete a two-month internship at the world-renowned ETH Zurich in Switzerland. The university will cover accommodation, transportation, and subsistence costs during the internship. Students will also receive a one-time international internship support of $3,000 throughout their education. Students enrolled in the English preparatory program will be offered a five-month language training opportunity in the US, with Medipol covering airfare, visa, accommodation, and tuition fees. Students who skip the preparatory program will be provided with alternative international internship support. The university will also cover congress participation expenses of students presenting papers at international congresses.

STRONG HEALTH INFRASTRUCTURE IN NURSING IS AN ADVANTAGE                  
The School of Health Sciences’ new Nursing Program aims to develop well-rounded professionals who are committed to quality and ethical values in healthcare. Students will receive a nursing education that requires theoretical knowledge, dexterity, and commitment, combined with a strong healthcare infrastructure, extensive practice opportunities, and the real-world experience Medipol offers.

AVIATION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM IN ENGLISH WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE                   
The Aviation Management Program, which is part of the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences, focuses on developing executive candidates for the global air transportation industry. The program is now also offered in English. The program will establish a solid foundation for ensuring economic efficiency and managing safe and secure flights in aviation, a field that requires expensive and extensive investments. It also focuses on airport planning, design, and management, as well as airline operations and air transportation.

INTERNATIONAL CHEFS WILL BE TRAINED IN ENGLISH IN GASTRONOMY AND CULINARY ARTS                    
Gastronomy, a science, art, and cultural expression related to food and beverages, will now be offered as an English program in the School of Fine Arts, Design, and Architecture. While the Turkish program provides comprehensive and in-depth training in restaurant management, food technology, gastronomic tourism, and culinary arts, the English program offers similar skills and the opportunity to apply them internationally. Both programs provide a well-rounded education in both applied and social sciences, preparing future chefs to become leaders in culinary science and the culinary industry.

NEW ASSOCIATE DEGREE PROGRAMS THAT PREPARE YOU FOR THE DIGITAL WORLD                     
The Vocational School offers programs such as Back-End Software Development, Computer Programming, Dental Prosthesis Technology, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, and Cybersecurity. These programs address the needs of the technology, healthcare, and IT sectors. Cybersecurity and robotics, in particular, are among the most strategic specialties of our time.
