Istanbul Medipol University students achieved success in both individual and team categories at the Interuniversity Kickboxing Türkiye Championship, making their mark on the organization by winning seven medals and a cup.
Istanbul Medipol University achieved significant success by winning two gold, three silver, and two bronze medals at the Interuniversity Kickboxing Türkiye Championship organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation. Istanbul Medipol University entered the ring with 10 athletes at the Interuniversity Kickboxing Türkiye Championship organized at the Balıkesir University Burhan Erdayi Sports Hall on April 9-11. Bayram Eren Celep (81 KG K1) and Esma Aydemir (48 KG K1) won the gold medal as the Turkish champions in their categories. Meryem Naz Ayas (60 KG Full Contact), Hazem Chakib Jedidi (81 KG Full Contact), and Sinem Beyza Tunçeriz (48 KG Full Contact) won silver medals. Firdevs Hale Balyemez (56 KG K1) and Rüya Ece (70 KG Kick Light) won bronze medals. Our women’s team left its mark on the championship by winning the Turkish Championship Cup in the K1 category.
