Medipol Graduate Came First at DUS Türkiye

The evaluation procedures for the Dentistry Specialization Training Entrance Exam (DUS) 2023-2nd term, which was held last October, have been completed. According to the announced results, Emine Hazan Akçadoğan, one of the 2020 graduates of Istanbul Medipol University School of Dentistry, came first at the 2023-2nd term DUS Türkiye. Akçadoğan came first in “Basic Medical Sciences” with 35 correct and 4 wrong answers and in “Clinical Medical Sciences” with 73 correct and 5 wrong answers. She stated that she aims for orthodontics as her field of expertise and is happy to rank first in the exam. Stating that the education she received at Istanbul Medipol University was an important factor in her success, our graduate Akçadoğan shared: “Behind this success, there is also the effort of both my professors and colleagues at Istanbul Medipol University and my family." Education teaches us not only to discover our potential but also how we can benefit our environment. In this regard, I would like to thank all my professors who contributed to my education.”

DEAN UÇKAN: OUR GRADUATE'S SUCCESS MADE US HAPPY

Istanbul Medipol University School of Dentistry Dean Prof. Sina Uçkan said that the first place at DUS pleased them. Uçkan added: “We are working to perfect the education and infrastructure opportunities in the field of dentistry. The recent accreditation of the School of Dentistry Turkish Program by the Association for Accreditation of Dental Education (DEPAD) for six years has reinforced our quality. There are over a hundred dentistry faculties in Türkiye. However, the number of accredited faculties does not exceed the fingers of one hand. The successes are a reflection of our education quality. In this regard, the achievements of our colleagues who graduated from our university will always be a source of pride for us.”
