Measurement and evaluation training organized in the School of Dentistry

The Measurement and Evaluation Training was carried out by the School of Dentistry at Istanbul Medipol University. In the training held on the South Campus, faculty member Dr. Ömer Kutlu and academics from Ankara University Faculty of Educational Sciences came together. In the training where the education system in Türkiye, especially in dentistry faculties, was discussed, Dr. Ömer Kutlu drew attention to the increase in the number of foreign students at universities. Dr. Kutlu stated that the biggest problem in education is the knowledge and skill gaps in student profiles and said: “Our education system is structured according to the average student profile, which prevents a standardized and sustainable quality. Equality in education should be ensured, and a different system should be implemented for talented students. We are constantly structuring our education standards according to the student. Instead of reducing course content according to the student profile, quality should be gradually increased. A determined education policy should be implemented by patiently resisting and always standing one step above.”
